Lifelong residents of Thunder Bay, Kim, my wife of 36 years, and I have lived and raised our family in Westfort. Together we have 3 children, 5 grandchildren, 2 dogs and a cat. I served our community for 33 years as a police officer, retiring with the rank of Patrol Sergeant in 2008. The highlight of my career was my work in establishing our Neighbourhood Policing program, where my unit worked closely with other city organizations to develop PROkids. PROkids has helped support hundreds of our young people in participating in city sports leagues.

I served with the Canadian Armed Forces for more than 20 years and continue to volunteer on the Battalion Senate with the Army Cadet League of Canada, which supports our young people as members of the Army Cadets. I also served as both president and Sgt-at-Arms for Legion Branch 113.

I believe that our youth are the future of Thunder Bay. As such, I will work tirelessly to cultivate new, decent paying, jobs that will keep them and their families here, at home. I am well known for my integrity and pragmatic approach and look forward to taking on the challenges of your representative for Westfort.
